Inclusive Community Council (ICC)

The Inclusive Community Council (ICC) (formerly Interim Coordinating Council for Thriving, Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity) was formed and charged by President Ronald A. Crutcher in August 2018 to initiate strategic and constructive connections among the many initiatives, committees, programs, and offices working to make the University of Richmond a place where all “students, faculty, and staff can reach their full potential and thrive in an inclusive University community.”

Currently, the ICC’s role is to shape and sharpen the institution’s focus on the systemic change needed for achieving an inclusive community where all can flourish. Drawing on its members’ depth and breadth of expertise, familiarity with institutional processes, and broad representation and relationships across the university, the ICC fosters alignment, communication, and best practices across offices, divisions, and schools.
